Pecan Pie

3 eggs

1 cup Karo pancake syrup

1 cup sugar

2 Tablespoons margarine, melted

1 teaspoon vanilla

1/8 teaspoon salt

1 cup pecan halves

1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell

Beat eggs slightly. Beat in vanilla and salt. Boil Karo syrup, sugar and margarine five minutes. Stir into egg mixture slowly. Stir in pecans. Pour into pastry shell. Bake in 350 degree F oven 55 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean. Cool.
