Friends old and new visit Co-op open house events

Long-time acquaintances, as well as some fresh faces, passed through West Florida Electric Cooperative’s offices during the Co-op’s recent open houses in Graceville, Sneads and Bonifay. Guests enjoyed refreshments, toured the facilities, attended mini-seminars, received blood pressure checks and entered a drawing for an electric grill at each of the offices. The grill winnerswere Katrina Olds in the Graceville drawing, Charles Hill in the Sneads drawing and Jason Motley in the Bonifay drawing.

In case you missed them, here are some scenes from WFEC’s open houses.

Young sat on WFEC’s board from 1975 through 1988 and was its first trustee to become certified by the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association. He also served two years as president of the Florida Electric Cooperatives Association. Donaldson worked in WFEC’s finance department 36 years before her retirement last year.
