WFEC seeks District 8 trustee

West Florida Electric Cooperative’s board of trustees has appointed a search committee to recommend a prospective trustee to fill a vacancy in District 8. The new trustee will fill a term expiring April 2003. To be eligible to serve as a trustee, a person must be a member of the Cooperative, be a resident of District 8 and meet certain other requirements set forth in the bylaws.

Desired qualifications include the ability to become bonded, capability to receive and send electronic mail and facsimile
transmissions and successfully meet all requirements to become a National Rural Electric Cooperative
Association Credential Cooperative Director within 36 months of appointment. The successful candidate will be encouraged to attend training courses to maintain a current knowledge of the electric industry.
