Snapshots of WFEC’s Member Appreciation Day
West Florida Electric Cooperative’s 2003 Member Appreciation Day/Annual Meeting, attended by hundreds April 26 at the Baptist College of Florida in Graceville, featured a tribute to Co-op founders, prize drawings, music, food and family fun. The following photos capture moments of the event:

Shown from left, Gertha Simpson, of Graceville, accepts a certificate from WFEC Executive Vice President and CEO Bill Rimes. At age 97, she is the oldest Co-op member present, in addition to being a charter member and wife of the late A. D. Simpson, one of WFEC’s first employees and, later, a board member.
Shown from left, A. D. Miles, of Marianna; Lawrence Felton, of Grand Ridge; and WFEC District 5 Trustee A. C. Miles, of Cottondale, enjoy a moment of fellowship before the ceremonies begin inside the Baptist College of Florida Assembly Center.
