World’s Best Meat Loaf
2 pounds of lean ground beef
2 eggs, beaten
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 Tablespoons of minced parsley
1 medium onion, chopped
1 cup dried bread, crumbled
1/2 cup catsup
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon salad-type mustard
2 teaspoon vinegar
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
Mix the catsup, brown sugar, mustard, vinegar and nutmeg. Set aside. Combine the remaining ingredients and shape into a loaf. Make a groove with the side of your hand in the center of the loaf and pour the sauce mixture in the groove and down the sides. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes or until done. Let stand for 10 minutes before slicing.
