Subscribe to wfeca.net three easy ways
Enrollment in West Florida Electric Cooperative's Internet service has never been easier. Now you have a choice of three convenient methods for establishing a wfeca.net account -- in person, over the telephone or online.You can sign up in person or over the phone through any of WFEC's district offices. In either case, a member services representative will guide you through the process. However, if you're subscribing by phone and aren't a WFEC electric customer, you'll need a valid credit card to pre-pay for your first month of service.
To enroll via the Internet, visit WFEC's Web site and click on "Services" to find the instructions. When you select "I agree" to WFEC's terms and conditions, in effect, you've signed your name on the dotted line. After you've submitted the online form, a WFEC member services representative will phone you within one business day to activate your account.
Regardless which method you use, enrollment in wfeca.net takes only a few minutes. But you must be at least 18, so be prepared to provide your driver's license number or other proof of age. You'll also need to choose a user name and password for your account.
Your user name will serve as your e-mail address, so choose something you'll remember easily. Also, in selecting a password, make it at least six characters with upper- and lowercase letters, as well as some numbers (HotShot29, for example). This will reduce the likelihood a hacker can break into your account.
If you receive electric service from WFEC, you'll probably want to add the monthly fee for your Internet service to your electric bill. If you're not a WFEC electric customer, you still can take advantage of wfeca.net's high-speed Internet access with friendly, continuous technical support and, in most areas, no long distance charges. The service is available to any resident of Calhoun, Holmes, Jackson or Washington County, no matter who provides your electricity.
