Top Guns WFEC employees honor their best and brightest
Whether working in operations and construction, finance and administration or member services, each West Florida Electric Cooperative employee is dedicated to serving you, the consumer. Recently, WFEC’s employees presented awards to co-workers they felt deserved recognition for their exemplary job performance and commitment to service.
Earning the highest award, Penny Aycock was named Employee of the Year by her peers. She began her career at WFEC as a service center clerk in 1994 and is now service department supervisor.
WFEC’s employees also chose Outstanding Service Award recipients from each of the Co-op’s three district offices. Elected were David Register in the Graceville district, Hulon Taylor in the Bonifay district and Keith Lanier in the Sneads district.
The following employees were honored for their continuous years of WFEC service:
25 years -- Russell Dunaway, Mae Shouppe, Hulon Taylor
20 years -- Ty Peel, Freddy Wood
15 years – Martha Benton, Tracey Crutchfield, Harold Dunham, Patty Grantham, Rick Hodge, Arlene Holland, Christa McWhorter, Terry Mullen, Donna Pittman, Bo Ussery, Wayne Williams
10 years – Josh Smith
5 years – Bill Rimes
