Now you can publish information on the Internet anytime, directly and immediately, free of charge with the latest service from West Florida Electric, your Touchstone Energy cooperative. WFEC’s TownSquare is a new, community-focused, community-managed, professionally-designed Web site where area residents, organizations and businesses can post valuable information for the community and for potential visitors to the area, as well.
WFEC’s Web site has always included information about local businesses and organizations, but TownSquare allows entities and individuals to upload to the Internet themselves, without having to go through the Co-op. Individuals, families, churches, civic clubs, youth groups, businesses, schools and daycares – anyone can quickly and easily add information to the TownSquare.
You don’t need special technical skills; anyone who can use a keyboard knows enough to log on and upload information, including images, in just a few simple steps. You can access your TownSquare page with any browser and Internet connection -- you don’t need any new software -- and can modify the content anytime from anywhere.
Including your information on a community Web site means you don’t have to struggle to compile enough relevant, fresh content to attract visitors – a problem many small Web site managers face. Best of all, this is a free service offered by your cooperative.
Use TownSquare to post the following:
Event calendars
Real estate listings
News
Announcements
Yard Sales
Job openings
Interactive directories
Classifieds
Recipes . . .
and more!
